Projects: Silver Computing

Our mission is to make better interaction techniques of computers for elderly people. We are working on 2 projects:

Adaptive Interface: creating a multi-dimensional adaptive interface, which can adapt to the user's visual, auditory and cognitive abilities in order to make it easier to use the interface

Design Project

"MAKING COMPUTER USE FOR SENIORS EASIER" ON THE STRAITS TIMES

16th April, 2011

"Multi-Dimensional Adaptive Interface for the Aged", a research project from the NUS-HCI Lab, was featured in The Straits Times, on 16th April 2011. The team, consisting of Dr. Zhao, Takashi and Kristal, aims to develop an intelligent computer program that will mould itself to the preferences of its user. It is certainly wonderful and flattering to get some press coverage on this project and let's hope there's more to come :)
